She ripped Mauler off of her leg, pointing the gun at the Boar and smiling. She pulled down the trigger and let the energy shots fly, each one warping and twisting as it flew, the atmosphere charged with randomly shifting particles. Some grew larger and turned net-like, while others got smaller and vanished. Her other hand grasped one of the Eagles on her side, reading her backup if the boar shifted too much.

It only took a split second for Arsenal to notice the spider monster. What took the time was figuring out what weapon would be most effective. He eventually (after nearly half a second of processing) decided on a cluster bomb, considering the creature's size and the probable vunerability of its many legs. He launched twin shells, both of which's initial contact explosion would do relatively little damage. It was the dozens of small but powerful warheads sent in every direction with a .75 second delay that would hurt.

Tifa may have been too stunned to notice Nit but she wasn't so far out of it that she missed the wild boar. As it began to charge and Keiyer started firing, she stumbled backwards away from it. Almost loosing her footing for a moment she righted herself and dived out of the way. As she stood again she pulled her boomerang from her pouch pocket, the giant light blade forming a split second later. Clutching it tightly in both hands she hurled it forwards, letting go as she did. It arced round, slamming into the boars side but bouncing off without doing any damage. As it returned to her hand Tifa held it up in front of her like a crooked sword.

"What's going on?!" she said quietly, still highly stunned by the events going on around her, "This is like a nightmare..."

Nit watched in awe as the boar, bearing an incredibly vile essence about it, came into the world out of nowhere. He did not grasp that the boar was probably confused and angry, despite it charging upon Tifa, Keiyer, and himself and he tried talking to the massive beast with short words like "Hello!" and "Hi!" The lovable rock was unaware of the dangers of confronting a monster like this with naught but words.

[Welcome Center Exterior: Arsenal and Matt]
Luckily for Matt, at this point, running past Arsenal from where he was would take him right in the direction of the Hubs Welcome Center. A normal building (more or less Mall looking, even) with (more or less) normal people around it, though they seem to have their own troubles, a few military guards from one of the buildings caught in a fight with a band of Orcs. Still, the path into the building was clear of combat.

As for Arsenal, he would realize that perhaps it was time begin evaluating the civilian cost of what weapons he used. While certainly the spider was dead, it was near people and the buildings nearby weren't exactly at their best structural integrity. While the buildings only looked wobblier, there were a few people showing some minor and moderate wounds from Arsenal's attack. Now the only issue that could be a problem was the afore mentioned Orcs.

[Welcome Center Main Promenade: Tifa Mysteria, Keiyer, and Nit]
Nit would be the first to greet the lumbering, maddened beast. While all its unnatural hate poured into its charge, the little rock man tried to be pleasant and greet it. It responded with bowling Nit out of its past, tossing him into one of the Promenade's planters. Suffice it to say, Nit being made of rock resulted in him taking no damage with the possible exception of that which might be inflicted on his feelings.

It continued onwards, barreling past Tifa as she dodged from its path. It squealed with anger when her boomerang impacted it. Just because it bounced off didn't mean it didn't feel it. It skid to a stop, its sharp black hooves digging into the tiles for part of the skid, prying them out of the floor before it began to charge Tifa again.

This is about when Keiyer began firing. The first shot might a well been a regular bullet. The second never made it. The third certainly widened into a net more then big enough for a group of humans, but not near big enough for this boar, simply falling off on impact. The fourth was by far the oddest. Right before hitting, it stops, two arms made of energy pulling out a huge hammer and pounding the pig sending it over Tifa's head and reeling into the gardens opposite of the ones Nit landed in. The difference being the boar completely crushed said gardening, the masonry turning to rubble. It stayed down for a moment, but began getting back up.

One of the descending craft was coming near to the Welcoming Center. It's intent was becoming more obvious to the military personnel in the nearby administrative building, and more began coming out to meet it and the other threats in the area.

Kei gave Mauler one of the strangest looks she ever had in her life. She strapped it back on her leg, deciding that the current conditions were far too random to be used safely. If a bullet could be turned into two hands and a giant mallet, then its direction could certainly change targets. She held her arms out, forming out two tendrils of nanites from her wrists, each tipped with a rather nasty spike. She pointed them towards the boar, sending them flying through the air (Still connected to her) at the boar's eyes.

The term "civilian cost" was barely in Arsenal's vocabulary. He was designed as a war machine. Although he did heed the bystander's injuries, that only calculated out the use of cluster bombs. The orcs, however, did not seem near as powerful as the spider. A focused barrage from his energy Gatling could easily down them. He tried his best top keep the colatteral damage to a minimun. And his Gatling fired very slow for a Gatling gun, at about 10 rounds per second. One shot wouldn't kill a man: but it sure would hurt and leave a nasty burn.

Matt, despite his insane panic, stops running to goggle at the orcs, he then notices the door to the building and decides that anywhere has to be safer than here.

He sprints across the rubbled ground, tripping on a large piece of cement and scraping his leg. Pulling himself back up, he hobbles quickly through the door.
